Smells Like Teen Spirit
Teenage Dogs Class (Outdoor)
For dogs aged 6–18 months
Starting 21 April
Adolescence is a perfectly normal but often frustrating stage of development. Hormones kick in, brains go a bit offline, and behaviours that felt “sorted” can suddenly wobble.
Smells Like Teen Spirit is an outdoor class designed specifically for teenage dogs, focusing on real-world skills rather than drill-based obedience. We work on engagement, focus, impulse control, and practical life skills in environments that reflect everyday distractions.
Sessions use movement, motivation, and clear cues to help dogs learn how to think, choose, and respond around the real world, not just in a quiet hall. This class is supportive, realistic, and judgement-free.
Ideal for dogs who are:
-
Suddenly selective about listening
-
Easily distracted outdoors
-
Big feelings in small (or not so small) bodies

Mantrailing Intro
12 April
This session is a practical introduction to mantrailing, where dogs learn to follow a specific human scent trail to find a hidden person.
We focus on understanding the basics of scent, reading your dog, handling the line, and building confidence at the start of a trail. No previous experience is needed. This is about learning together, seeing what your dog is capable of, and understanding just how powerful scenting is.
Mantrailing is suitable for a wide range of dogs, including those who may struggle in traditional class environments, as it is dog-led, purposeful, and deeply rewarding.

90-Day Recall Challenge
Starts 29 March

Recall problems are rarely about stubborn dogs. They are usually about timing, understanding, environment, and how recall is trained and maintained over time.
The 90-Day Recall Challenge is a structured programme designed to improve real-world recall gradually and sustainably. This is not a quick fix and it is not about shouting cues louder or relying on luck.
Across 90 days, we work on:
-
Why recall fails in the first place
-
How arousal, distractions, and reinforcement history affect response
-
Handler skills such as timing, setup, and decision-making
-
Building habits that hold up outside, not just in training setups
The challenge combines in-person workshops with structured guidance released between sessions, allowing time for learning, practice, and reflection. The focus is on clarity, consistency, and understanding rather than pressure or shortcuts.
This programme suits dogs who:
-
Have unreliable recall outdoors
-
Get overwhelmed by distractions
-
Are adolescents or young adults needing better foundations
